Tips to do and visit

Cycle
Zeeland is a 5-star bicycle province and, partly due to the bicycle junction system, it is useful to plan your own route in advance. Going by bike? Rent one from us; you can go out all day for just € 10.00. You can also go to our reception for a cycling route map and tips!

To walk
We mentioned earlier that a beach walk is a good way to relax. But walking is a favorite activity anyway in these days because it is easy to keep your distance. Zoutelande has several dune paths where you can walk and enjoy the beautiful view. The dune area of Zoutelande marks one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the Netherlands: the 'Zeeuwse Rivièra'. With its rare south orientation, most hours of sunshine and the cleanest beaches in the entire country, Zoutelande is the nicest village in Zeeland for a reason.

With the beach just a stone's throw away, you will stay very centrally. Places such as Domburg, Middelburg and Vlissingen are approximately 10 kilometers away.

Aquatics
Zeeland is sea & land. And actually the water is always close by. Maybe a bit cold for swimming, but for those who love wind and kite surfing, sailing and boating, the many water in the province is ideal. Nice tip from us, also with the children: go to Kanoa for a morning or afternoon and rent a canoe or go SUPping!

Horse riding
Nothing is wrong with a wonderful outdoor ride! Nice through the forest or on the beach. View the possibilities on the website of Manege Duno in Domburg. Relaxed and safe!

Fun with the kids
Attractions and playgrounds are usually closed. But the beach is one big playground for children. Bucket and shovel to build sandcastles, find shells, fly kites and bathe (or even a dip!); the children are having fun! And of course a nice picnic on the beach in good weather with tasty snacks and drinks.
Geocaching; an adventurous game for GPS and smartphone where you search for hidden caches together. Super fun and exciting to search for the "treasures" with your children. Look here for the latest Zeeland caches.
Walking with ponies; at Manege Duno it is possible to take a ride on one of the Shetland ponies. You can bring your own saddled pony for a walk through the nearby forest. Afterwards, the children can still help with brushing and taking care of the pony.

If you go out during your stay, keep to the general rules and keep at least 1.5 meters distance from others!
